Plus: How to make perfect contact every time

Good Morning! Both events across the PGA and the LPGA Tour are shaping up for a thrilling finish as we approach the business end of RBC Heritage and the Chevron Championship.

And you would probably guess it even without looking at the leaderboards; Scottie Scheffler and Nelly Korda are very much in contention to win.

Fun Fact: Scottie Scheffler shot 65 during Round 2, the 33rd time he's shot 65 or lower on the PGA Tour over the last three seasons. Xander Schauffele shot 64, the second-most in that same span, with 26.

⛳ This day in history: On this date in 1969, Kathy Whitworth tied with three others for the most consecutive wins in scheduled events with four. Whitworth’s fourth came in the Lady Carling Open.

Underdogs occupy the top spots across the PGA and the LPGA Tour but the star players are not very far off as we reach the halfway mark at RBC Heritage and the Chevron Championship.

 ⛳️ PGA Tour: RBC Heritage

🚀 4-Way Tie At The Top: Collin Morikawa had another solid outing, registering a 5-under 66 and has a four-way share of the lead with Tom Hoge, J.T. Poston and Sepp Straka after Round 2.

The leading pack is tied at 11-under, one shot clear of the chasing trio comprising Rodgers, Aberg and Hughes.

Scheffler In Contention: Scottie Scheffler might be "drained", "tired" or all of that but he is never far off from the top spots. The World No 1 currently sits T-10, just three back from the leaders following his six-birdie second round 65.

📌 Rory's Wedges: Rory McIlroy included the TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver in his bag for this week's event in Hilton Head but that's not the only change that he has made. He has also switched his wedges from TaylorMade Milled Grind 4s to what appears to be Titleist Vokey SM10s.

🏌‍♀Rookie Shares Lead: Rookie Jin Hee Im and 21-year-old Thai star Atthaya Thitikul share the 36-hole lead (-8) after Round 2. Im is making her first-ever start in a major championship this week and is now holding her first-ever lead or co-lead on the LPGA Tour.

🚨 Korda On Track: Nelly Korda sits one stroke back of Thitikul and Im at -7, very much on track to win a historical 5th consecutive LPGA title. With a win this week, she will tie Annika Sorenstam’s and Nancy Lopez’s record for most wins in consecutive starts on the LPGA Tour.

🚫 Stars Miss Cut: 73 players will play the weekend at the year’s first major. Multiple big names have failed to make the cut and that includes the likes of Lexi Thompson, Celine Boutier, Danielle Kang and Minjee Lee among others.
