Ryder Cup hero Tyrrell Hatton is on the verge of joining LIV, just hours after he committed to play in the Phoenix Open on the PGA Tour. Hatton, ranked World No 16, would be following new star Adrian Meronk in making the move to LIV Golf.

The season-opener LIV Mayakoba will tee-off on February 2 and the league is pulling out quite a few last-minute surprises to fill the team rosters. Three slots are still left to be filled and reports suggest that Hatton, Meronk and Caleb Surratt will occupy these spots.
