Scheffler vs Tiger: It's Closer Than You Think

Scottie Scheffler's recent dominance has drawn comparisons to Tiger Woods' prime - let's see what the numbers say.

🚀 Tiger Woods got his first 10 title wins in 76 tournaments, while Scheffler got his in 119 events.

🚀 Scoring average during their own peaks is about the same, with Scheffler having a rate of 67.50% and Woods 67.79%.

🚀 Scheffler has made 31.11% birdie this year on the PGA Tour while Woods topped the rankings with a birdie rate of 27.14% in 2006.

🚀 Scheffler currently ranks first when it comes to avoiding bogeys, with a bogey rate of just 8.89%. Tiger Woods on the other hand, had a rate of 12.18% when he was at the peak of his game in 2006.

While Scheffler still has a long way to go to match the legacy of Woods, the numbers suggest that it's not improbable.

And who knows, Scheffler's peak might not have even arrived yet?
