Day 2 of the Genesis Invitational at Riviera had its share of scares, fun and drama - find out all that happened.

🏥 Tiger Falls Ill and Withdraws: Woods withdrew from his tournament at Riviera mid-way through Round 2 after experiencing flu-like symptoms. He was taken to hospital and treated for dehydration with an IV bag and is doing much better now.

🚫 Spieth Disqualified: Jordan Spieth has been disqualified from the tournament for signing an incorrect scorecard. Spieth signed for a 3 at the par-3 fourth hole and a second-round 72, when in fact he made 4 on the hole and shot 73.

🏌️ Cantlay Continues To Lead: Cantlay shot a 6-under 65 to build a five-shot lead over Jason Day, Luke List and Mackenzie Hughes. Schauffele (T-6), Finau (T-9) and Scheffler (T-11) are not very far off.

🚩 Stars Miss The Cut: Multiple top-ranked players including Wyndham Clark, Matt Fitzpatrick and Justin Thomas have missed the cut. McIlroy and Homa are safe after recovering well from a poor day one.

Dominance on the LPGA Tour is a thing of the past.

It’s been a decade since a player has won more than five times in a single season. Yani Tseng was the last player to win seven times in 2011.

Here’s a closer look at most wins by year.

13 Wins: Mickey Wright won 13 times in 1963. Wright competed in 28 of the 32 official events that season.

11 Wins: Two players have won 11 times in a single season: Wright in 1964 and Annika Sorenstam in 2002.

10 Wins: Four players have led the tour in a single season with 10 wins, but only one player managed to do so after 1968 – Annika Sorenstam in 2005.

9 Wins: Only two players have led the tour with nine wins in a season - Kathy Whitworth in 1966 and Nancy Lopez in 1978.
