TOP STORY
Day 3: RSM, CME, DP

PGA Tour: The RSM Classic

Swedish superstar Ludvig Åberg heads into the weekend at the 2023 RSM Classic with the solo lead at 11 under with eyes on nabbing his first PGA Tour victory in the final event of the season. A birdie on his last hole pushed Åberg past a crowded bunch at 10 under as Denny McCarthy, Sam Ryder and Eric Cole sit one adrift.

Both Åberg and Cole find themselves in a similar position through 36 holes as they aim to capture their first victories, first invitations to The Masters and battle for Rookie of the Year honors. All three could be decided over the next two days at Sea Island Golf Club.

LPGA: CME Group Tour Championship

Nasa Hataoka had a strong start and Amy Yang had a hot finish, finishing with a share of the lead in the CME Group Tour Championship with 18 holes left and $2 million on the line.

Yang had four birdies in her final six holes at Tiburon for an 8-under 64. Hataoka set the pace early with five birdies in her first 11 holes and finished with a 65.

They were at 21-under 195, scoring so low that they already are within two shots of the tournament record with one round to go.

DP World Tour Championship

2023 DP World Tour Championship: Matt Wallace sits ahead of Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland after Round 3. Wallace's 12 birdies in a round, nine birdies in a row, nine-hole score in relation to par (-9) and in sum (27) matched DP World Tour records.

This Day In History

On November 19, 1923, British Mixed Foursome at Worplesdon, the final important golf tournament of the year, came to a close with Joyce Wethered and Cyril J. H. Tolley the mixed foursomes champions of Britain.

On the 113-yard tenth hole (which calls for a drive across a lake onto a gradually rising, slightly terraced green), Miss Wethered holed out in a single shot.
