Golf's rising star Viktor Hovland has confirmed his participation in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am tournament next week. Hovland was linked to LIV Golf after he skipped multiple events on the PGA and the DP World Tour.

The Norwegian has put an end to all rumors and is a part of the entry list at Pebble Beach. Hovland was earlier very critical of the PGA Tour but made it clear that he is not open to moving to LIV.

"I don't think their product is that great. If I had gone to LIV, I don't think I would have become a better golfer. And then it is, in a way, end of discussion."

- Viktor Hovland

Hovland’s last PGA tour appearance came at The Sentry. He will be back in action on February 1.
