Good morning. US golfers are dominating events across the PGA Tour and LIV Golf - take a look at the latest results and top storylines from the WM Phoenix Open and LIV Las Vegas.

In our Weekend Reading, we take a look at golfing records that (surprisingly) do not belong to Tiger Woods, and in Driving Range - the best drills to improve your impact and follow through.

So, make yourself comfortable and let's explore the latest from the golfing greens together in today’s edition of Golf Reporter.

Today’s Trivia: How old was Tiger Woods when he got his first hole in one? Answer end of the email.

⛳ This day in history: Nick Taylor shot a 60 during Round 1 of the WM Phoenix Open. He was one day off from quite a coincidence. On this date in 1951, Al Brosch became the first golfer ever to hit a 60 on the PGA Tour, during the third round of the Texas Open.

WM Phoenix Open Day 2 Update

Canada's Nick Taylor matched the TPC Scottsdale Stadium course record with an 11-under 60 to head into the weekend tied for the lead with America's Andrew Novak.

Due to inclement weather, more than half of the field still needs to finish the second round on Saturday, although more rain is forecast.

Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Young and Justin Thomas are all tied for the fifth spot. Overnight leader Sahith Theegala (six under) was among those not able to tee off on Friday.

Tiger Woods' list of accomplishments is unmatched but there are certain things which he hasn't done in his pro golf career.

Most Wins In A Season: Tiger Woods won nine times in 2000. But Byron Nelson holds the record - won 18 times, including a stretch of 11 in a row in 1945. Tiger’s longest winning streak is seven.

Largest Margin Of Victory: The PGA Tour mark for largest victory margin is 16, and it’s held by four golfers—Bobby Locke, Sam Snead, Joe Kirkwood, Sr. and J. Douglas Edgar. Woods famously won the 2000 US Open at Pebble Beach by 15 shots - one shot short of the record.

Holes-In-One: The PGA Tour’s all-time mark for most aces is the 10 collected by Robert Allenby and Hal Sutton. There are five golfers next on the list with seven but Woods is not even near the top of this list. He has made only three aces on the PGA Tour.

Most Top-10s In A Season: Woods has made 336 cuts, had 199 top-10s, 31 second-place finishes and another 19 thirds in his professional career till date. He had 16 top-10 finishes in 1999 and another 17 in 2000 but never did catch the mark of 21 set by Tom Kite in 1981.
